CLUSTER HEADACHE

A cluster headache is one of the most painful types of headache. A striking feature of cluster headache is that the attacks occur in cyclical patterns, or clusters — which gives the condition its name.

BURSITIS 

Bursitis is the inflammation of one or more bursae (small sacs) of synovial fluid in the body. The bursae rest at the points where internal functionaries, such as muscles and tendons, slide across bone. When bursitis occurs movement relying upon the inflamed bursa becomes difficult and painful.

CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME

Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), or median neuropathy at the wrist, is a medical condition in which the median nerve is compressed at the wrist, leading to paresthesias, numbness and muscle weakness in the hand.

The diagnosis of CTS is often misapplied to patients who have activity-related arm pain.

OSTEOPOROSIS

Osteoporosis is most common in women after menopause, but may also develop in men, and may occur in anyone in the presence of particular hormonal disorders and other chronic diseases or as a result of medications. Given its influence on the risk of fragility fracture, osteoporosis may significantly affect life expectancy and quality of life.

SCIATIC

The sciatic nerve is the longest nerve in your body. It runs from your spinal cord to your buttock and hip area and down the back of each leg. The term "sciatica" refers to pain that radiates along the path of this nerve — from your back down your buttock and leg.

JOINT DISEASE

Joint Disease, also know as Osteoarthritis,is a group of diseases and mechanical abnormalities entailing painful degradation of joints, including cartilage and the subchondral bone next to it.

SCOLIOSIS

Scoliosis is a medical condition in which a person's spine is curved from side to side, shaped like a "s", and may also be rotated. To adults it can be very painful. It is an abnormal lateral curvature of the spine.

On an x-ray, the spine of an individual with

a typical scoliosis may look more like an

"S" or a "C" than a straight line.

WHIPLASH

Whiplash is a nonmedical term used to describe neck pain following an injury to

the soft tissues of your neck (specifically ligaments, tendons, and muscles). It is caused by an abnormal motion or force applied to your neck that causes movement beyond the neck's normal range of motion.

VERTEBRAL SUBLUXATION

Vertebral subluxation is a chiropractic term that is used to describe a myriad

of signs and symptoms (syndrome) thought to occur as a result of a misaligned or dysfunctional spinal segment. The chiropractic subluxation complex is a functional biomechanical spinal lesion with purported altered neurological function that can result in neuromusculoskeletal and visceral disorders.
